OYO Hampton Court Hotel

"DO NOT BOOK THIS ACCOMMODATION. Well, what can I say. The accommodation didn't look anything like the photos on the Airbnb listing. It looked like someone had taken an abandoned building and decided to rent out a couple of rooms. The reception area looked like it had been cleared out by bailiffs. It was in darkness, even during the day, so no idea if there was any electricity. There was mould in the shower. The lid on the bathroom bin was missing. I was connected the day before I was due to arrive to tell me that there was renovation work being carried out. There was no sign of any work being done. I was also told there was no wifi. I was there for 45 minutes before leaving. That time was spent attempting to book somewhere else. Airbnb secured me a full refund and informed me the property had been delisted."

"Run down ex hotel selling rooms under airbnb. Do not book. Musty, rooms and linen disgusting. Host delays check-in and won't refund second night due to 24 hour rule. Likely scam."

"WARNING! This so-called hotel needs closing down asap before someone is either hurt or worse. We booked this via Airbnb and it was a disaster. No running cold water in the sink. No shower head attachment. I am reporting this to the relevant authorities for reasons I am unwilling to share on here. STAY CLEAR!"

"Could have given minus if I could. Arrived the very first day finding the bathroom covered in diarrhoea and left the hotel the very next day. You could tell the bathroom had not been professionally cleaned for some time. Found stained (yellow towel). Also couldn't sleep through the night due to bad air-conditioning, bad bed mattress ( your back was diving until reaches the floor) and noises from outside exhaust fans. Requested full refund (after promised by receptionist), chased this with Booking.com, I don't think I am ever going to get it back. Edit: Recently got an email from booking.com letting me know that they couldn't resolve the issue and the hotel has been uncooperative. I've lost my refund and time to chase it up. Don't even bother booking..."

"We had a one nights stay here. Ernest made us feel really welcome on check-in and the following morning at breakfast. Our room was very clean. We had the Continental breakfast which was great value. Will stop here again when in Hampton Court"
