I felt in safe hands every step of the way and had a positive journey throughout, from booking through to coming in and going home. I would like to extend my personal thanks to Sister Kim, who was so kind and caring the whole time. The theatre team were amazing and so reassuring. My room was comfortable and spotlessly clean, pantry staff were all so accomodating too. Administration, porters, housekeeping, catering and clinical teams, and to my consultant, thank you! But the black nurse... No words for her unprofessionalism. It is not about racism as there were many other races with good manners"

"Smooth on the day, eveything else was a nightmare. On the day of my surgery, everything was handled smoothly and I was well looked after. My nurse and my physio on the day were kind and helpful. However, every part of my journey other than that day was a mess. Every person you speak to believes from the bottom of their heart that you’re not their problem and the responsibility for your support lies with someone else. I just want support, and to be able to get answers from the health professionals who treated me and I’m sick of being passed back & forward, getting nothing done. Oh, and the secretaries never answer their phones and don’t have a voicemail"
