"Have used this fantastic independent family run shop for a five years for gifts for friends and family. The things you find here are definitely quirky. The owner is super helpful and always seems to have plenty of friends popping in which I absolutely think is great. Super friendly and very helpful."

"Such a unique, great shop and excellent customer service I'm surprised more people haven't reviewed. I have always been warmly welcomed over the years whether to browse or pick up a tree or. Christmas decoration. A friendly smile, genuine interest and helpfulness went a long way to making this shop stick in my mind over the years. Both outside and inside the shop are exactly what the shop says you will find, really cool, quirky bits. The owner definitely has an eye for products that fit that definition and that make you stop and say wow. Currently inside he has a vintage laughing policeman that would have graced a fun fair in the 50s and several unusual vintage light box signs that scream buy me. It is a treasure trove where you can find that one quirky bit that will tie a room together and be a talking point for your guests. I have been to a fair few second hand and vintage places over the years including frequenting bigger places like Portobello Road and Snoopers Paradise in Brighton and this shop is hands down a valid competitor. A majority of the stock is of high quality and price and visiting this shop will save you a lot of time looking in bigger shops. You don't only get vintage either you can also pop down at Christmas and get extremely reasonably priced trees and Christmas decorations. At the moment the shop is beautifully decorated for Christmas which also makes the shop stand out as a local asset. I smile every time I pass this shop at the thoughtfulness put into the shops presentation and also because of the excellent customer service here."
