"There are several other carpet shops in the vicinity and I browsed and got quotes off them all. I decided to go with Famous because the underlay and carpet held in stock was a much higher quality- and even with fitting labor on top- the total quote was a LOT cheaper than the others. They also went out of their way to measure and fit asap at very short notice, had a great selection to choose from and were helpful, patient and professional throughout. The fitting was carried out the next day and to a very high standard, old carpet taken away and all mess cleaned up straight away and the result has literally transformed the flat. So pleased I've now recommended them to friends and family. GOOGLE PLEASE TAKE NOTE: When I came to write this review, the business was erroneously listed as 'Permanently Closed' - Perhaps Famous Carpets has a few disgruntled nearby competitors that can't compete with the standard of service, integrity and price offered here..."
