"If you are needing a wheelchair taxi their policy is that you cannot make a booking but simply have to phone up when you are ready to set off and they tell you they have no taxis available. I asked them if I could use a manual wheelchair instead and pay the driver £5 or £10 to push me in the chair from my door to the car and they said they dont push wheelchairs."

"Booked via the phone. Taxi didn't arrive. When I phoned to ask where it was that said that I had cancelled it, which simply was not true. No other taxis were available. Thanks for nothing Fleetways. Absolutely useless. All the taxi companies in York are equally garbage. The city should stop pandering to them and officially license Uber instead."

"I wish I could have given 0 stars! I booked a taxi yesterday for an important meeting for my wife. Today, roughly an hour before the trip should have taken place I get a text saying it's cancelled. They didn't even bother to call to inform me. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - THEY ARE NOT SERIOUS!!!"

"Extremely disappointed with the customer service of this taxi firm. After accepting a booking, they decided they could not pick my sister with dementia up, potentially stranding her 15 miles from home. Another more caring York taxi firm stepped in & bought my sister home. I would not recommend this taxi company, particularly with your vulnerable loved ones."
