"After having a low attendance due to illness (which I still have to cope with now) there was a particular occasion that makes me physically hate this school and makes me so glad I left. One time I continued being physically sick at school, at least 4-5 times until nothing but water was coming up, and ending up with sick on my tie and trousers, I kept on being refused to be sent home. I was physically sick at break or lunch where everyone could see me and it made me feel awful, I then got accused of not even being sick and just splashing water everywhere. Don't get me wrong, the teachers are amazing but the attendance officer's and student services need to listen to the students, whether they have bad attendance or not and send them home. The next day I had off school and I was physically since at least 20 times, till I was throwing up just bile and had severe gastroenteritis. I will always continue to not enjoy my school years due to the amount of times I got told when I was severely unwell I couldn't go home due to my attendance. Least the sixth form I'm at now listens to me and even due to low attendance will send me home when I need to be."
