Holt House Infants School

"This is a wonderful small infant school which has exceptionally caring and supportive staff who provide excellent learning opportunities for all children. The communication and support during the Covid pandemic has been very good. We have felt well supported at home with all the resources we need. There is lots of outdoor space, a new outdoor climbing area and plenty of learning resources. Both my sons are here in Y1 and Y2 and they are happy, confident and always look forward to attending. Any queries have always had swift responses and we feel very fortunate to be part of a lovely group of children and parents. We would highly recommend this school."

"I've got nothing but praise for the school and teachers at Holt House. My daughter is treated as an individual and when I've asked for support, I have always had a response from the school. It's a great community and all the parents are lovely, too. I've always felt that our queries are handled well. "This is an outstanding school! I have sent both my children to this school. The setting is fantastic- lots of green space surrounding it, making it feel more like a rural school. One of my children has now moved up to Carterknowle Junior School, the other is in Y2 at Holt House. The teachers at Holt House are caring and work very hard to make every child feel welcome and safe. The learning is made fun and my children love(d) going to this school.
