"I werent there to find out how to apply for the YMCA The staff didnt know what they were doing They gave me the wrong date to go in for an assessment. Had me going back and forth to eventually end up terminating their involvement with me because I missed a call from them, back when I was homeless."

"Would absolutely not recommend. Only public visitors are catered for well. Residents are treated horrifically, for a place that is supposed to help and support vulnerable people. It is unfortunate to say they do the opposite. Many staff are rude and patronising and don’t take into account the struggles residents find in that building. It is so old that most things are falling apart. There’s cracks throughout every floor, the lifts hardly work and you’ll have to walk up and down 10 flights depending where ur floor is. The ‘ meals ‘ provided are atrocious, and in no way do they fulfil a healthy balanced diet. If you work you’ll have to pay a crazy 60% of your wages to live in a place I’d compare or if not say is worse to prison. Support workers will tell you ‘ beggars can’t be choosers” when you address problems in the block. The head of support workers is on a suspended license, it is quite alarming they do not dbs check staff to work with such vulnerable people. Overall I would completely avoid for the sake of your mental and physical well-being. Only less than a handful of staff there are kind and help you."

"I use the after-school/holiday club. The staff are always bubbly and smiles. My child always looks forward to going. The holiday club offers so many activities to do, for example, go swimming, have day trips out to the park, go to a museum. Would recommend"
