"Very poor communication which has put me and my children at risk. HRS were happy to take my case in. I submitted all the relevant documents they needed. Once the go ahead was given the person I spoke to initially handed my case over to a trainee. I needed a none molestation order after an assault immediately which a well known org would have got me within a week. I stupidly refused their services as I needed a firm that could also support me with taking the case back to court. Only one solicitor could apply for legal aid. I wish I hadn't chosen HRS over the national DV organisation. Now my case is closed with NCDV and reopening it will be a entire process in it of itself. HRS have wasted weeks of crucial time and energy I could have put in a more reliable organisation. My last email stated that I had been waiting a long time with no update, and that if I do not hear from my representative by the end of the day I will take my services else where. I got no acknowledgement of that email nor an apology. HRS ignoring me is going to cost me a lot in terms of my safety, the court arrangements and stress that could have been avoided simply by HRS communicating with me."
