"I first made contact with Julian Latham in August of 2021. I had never purchased furniture from an antiques dealer overseas before, so I took every step (without pushback) to verify this was a "real" transaction. We had a Whatsapp video chat, where Julian showed me and my husband the chairs we wished to purchase, the lovely woodshop where tons of work was taking place, and the upholstery area of his shop where they reupholster antique furniture. We checked in with Julian via Whatsapp, and when the shipping got confusing (for me) he was quick to contact their shipping vendor to answer any questions I had. The chairs arrived on December 14. They were thoughtfully and carefully packaged with top notch delivery service. Once our custom table was completed in January, I photographed the chairs with the ensemble as well.
