"Visited Oak Furniture Land Chester today with my wife and kids, considering buying a new sofa! We were greeted by Aiden who was fantastic with us and very helpful and informative. I particularly liked that he wasn't pushy with the sale and even sent us a link to guarantee the sale price of the items that we were interested in. In the end, purely down to his approach and manner, we returned to the shop following a short tour of the competitors and bought the sofas which will be delivered in just over a week. Aiden is a huge asset to your business and I will look forward to returning soon to buy some more item! :-)"

"This is a review of the Company not the Chester shop. Do not order furniture on line with these people. I am trying to arrange a simple redirect for a delivery and nobody will help me. Fifty minute phone wait for customer services. Phoned sales line.... Can't help.... Phoned a shop.... Can't help you because you ordered on line.... Shambolic service."

"Arrived to be bombared initially by salesman asking what we wanted (as we have recently moved house, we just wanted a browse for ideas) and another colleague was challenging another couple to ask if they booked an appointment.... really, for Oak Furniture Land???? We continued to browse but realised we were being followed by aforementioned salesman, as if we were shoplifters. The feeling was genuinely off-putting and despite having some positive ideas for a rarely substantial purchase, we felt we would buy elsewhere (which we did in the end). Will not return to this particular store"

"Generally good quality furniture and a large store which makes browsing easy. Beware of constant sales however, as prices seem to have a life of their own. There is also a long, convoluted process if an item is damaged, which involves sending photos, having the item inspected and then repaired, which is not acceptable for something that is supposedly "new", so bear that in mind before purchasing. Otherwise communications are good, and drivers usually stick to their delivery slot."
