"Good local wine merchant with seemingly knowledgeable staff. Very interesting range of wines from the most modest to the most luxurious. They also stock whiskies and tequilas from small batch, boutique makers, both of which spirits this reviewer is particularly interested in. I am sure the same is probably true of their gins and vodkas but I am less knowledgeable about them."
"Even if this place is a little expensive they have a fine and unusual selection of wines, beers and spirits. Staff are informed and generous of spirit. Definitely worth a visit. Oh, sign up for the next wine tasting...it was very educational and fun."
"Great selection of wines. However the lady and gentleman who work there are two of the grumpiest souls in Muswell Hill. My first experience there, I put down to them having a bad day. My second experience would be my last. And when wife called in recently she came back saying “ I see what you mean about those two!” I won’t go back again. You’d be much better off heading over to Majestic when it reopens. The guys there are knowledgeable, keen and friendly with great recommendations!"

However, when I’m genuinely asking for advice I feel aggrieved to be palmed off with a bottle that isn’t good, and that the shop are probably just trying to clear. My wine knowledge isn’t deep so I rely on recommendations in good faith - today lost."
