"Great service, owners are always polite and helpful to me. The only problem that they cannot control is other customers’ behaviour in-store, ignoring social distancing and being considerate towards other people. This is a social issue and not the fault of the owners of the store which serves the community in every way they can, plus they work very long hours and tirelessly for us. People - please be considerate to others during this unprecedented global pandemic. You never know when you might be the next victim of the plague! Finally, thank you Shan Supermarkets for all your hard work and politeness. It’s what Customer Service is all about :)"

"I went here today to collect a parcel from DHL. I was on my bike and asked for a bag so I could carry the parcel more comfortably and feel safer cycling back home. The guy at the till told me it was 10p, I told him I did not have cash but I could pay by card. He told me I could not pay by card and he refused to give me the bag even though I explained to him again I was cycling and was not feeling safe carrying the parcel without a bag. I think people need to start getting their priorities right a plastic bag is less important than the safety, courtesy and kindness towards people."
