M&S Foodhall

"Very rude, unprofessional and unknowleageable manager. Purchased a bottle of spiced rum a few days ago as a present and my friend said that she does not like it. So I was in M and S 10 minutes ago and the manager did not even look at it properly as it is unopen and said with a superior attitude than won't take it back because it s a food item. Is a spirit drink and never before I have been refused to refund spirits at any other supermarket in the past. I read the terms and conditions and it does not mention that you cannot return spirits. I have spent thousands of pounds with M and S and never experienced such a bad customer service like today from anyone working for M and S. Apparently the standards have dropped in the Colindale store. No problem, I will go shop elsewhere."

"I came in this morning, just for a quick stop-over before heading off home, I was amazed at how the employees at M&S as a whole & at M&S Colindale Foodhall genuinely care about the well being & satisfaction of their customers. I approached the bread aisle looking for the scrumptious Lemon & Sultana Danish that come in 2 per pack, I had asked an employee working the bakery section if they had any in stock, I forgot to ask her name, she was very kind to go into the back and try and locate some, she came back with a smile on her face which really made my day, it truly did. Luckily she found two packets hiding away, lucky me I guess :). I left the store knowingly cared for by herself & her colleagues, It truly is a testament to M&S & their customer service strategy & how they excel in every way possible. Being a Sparks member & an M&S Group customer including Waitrose & Partners with John Lewis, they go above & beyond to ensure my needs are met & exceeded, the lovely encounter I had with the bakery employee was today- 27/05/2022 at around 08:58 to 09:05."

"Great M&S food hall location in Colindale. The fruit and veg is extremely fresh and good prices. They have an extensive food range including ready made meals and dinners. There is also a small drinks section which is good. The store is very large with alot of space which makes it easy to navigate. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly."

"There’s not really a large selection of stuff because the store is smaller than most M&S’. However it’s very modern and clean (because it’s new). Only the self serve checkouts are open."
