"Our second home. A great cosy locals pub, staff always friendly and beer is quality at affordable prices. They have lots of turns, so check their Facebook for events. The landlady is tops, no messing our Karen. Sign up at £6.50 a year for renewals is a steal."

"Had to move our Monday afternoon tea dance from Cluntergate centre as they are experiencing problems with the building to Horbury WMC. We have been warmly welcomed by Karen, the landlady. Our first dance last Monday was well attended and so everyone enjoyed themselves. We all feel very much at home and hope to continue dancing there for the foreseeable future."
