"Attended a Christmas party here in 2019,in the main function room. I have to say that I was very disappointed with the cleanliness of the whole venue. All walls,floors,tables,chairs,stages,bar area,and especially the toilets were filthy. I am not perfect myself,and maybe they don't have the budget for thorough cleaning,but surely they can see what I can,and I'm not the only visitor to notice either. When you are renting out your room for the first time to a large group of people,who in fact have this function every year,if you want them to use your facility again, surely you will clean it thoroughly to create a good first impression? Also the decor is extremely old faded and tired,with patches of wall where paper had been torn off and not replaced. I think this place could be a great venue with some t.l.c.,really do. But for now it needs a lot of work,and I hope the owners can get that help they need to do it. I have no idea if the organisers will book this venue again,maybe not which is unfortunate as there are good all round facilities here,and I'm sure the locals love it."
