"The indian lady at the check out accused me of stealing a bag of crisps when I had walked into the store eating them. No apology was given and I was publicly humiliated. I won’t be back. I felt very hurt and embarrassed. I did nothing wrong at all and I was being accused with not a grain of evidence it was shocking behaviour from the Tesco staff."

"Just popped in here for the first time since living in brentwood for last ten years to pick up some orange squash, and there was none on the shelf, so i asked the nearest member of staff, she couldn't speak a word of English let alone understand it, when i asked do you have any orange squash in stock, she took to the sweet Isle and showed me the drummy squashies, i said that ain't orange squash, she replied with i don't know what orange squash is. One word, Wow. That's what your dealing with nowadays in shops, no one English."

"Over the past 16 months, I believe the staff deserve bonuses, pay rises and anything else that would reflect how tolerant yet helpful, considerate and expressed the level of common sense and courtesy needed to ensure the public were appreciated. Now the products need to reflect the quality and diversity of the staff."

"Handy but sometimes difficult to park if there is a huge delivery lorry unloading. However I think they have recently opened an overflow car parking area at the rear of the store. Quite a large amount of choice and handy to visit for emergency shopping."
