"New store but let down by poor management. Lack of staffing in store. A lot of empty shelves, messy bakery and crumbs and foods on the floor. Seems like they heavily cut down on staffing and which reflects the condition of the store. No customer service on the shop floor since only one colleague is looking after shelf check out and till. I feel sorry for the store team as upper management don’t care about the store nor the team."

"Easier with fewer shoppers, but still glacially slow through the till due to staff interventions. New parking regulations mean scanning receipt and inputting car reg number... More faffing about! Staff didn't warn us about this - just as well we spotted this whilst waitng at the checkout!"

"Popped in, normally go to Lidl in Braintree, but was in the area. Although a smaller shop, it had lots of variety and fully packed shelves. The fruit and veg quality didn’t look amazing, but I was in and out the store quick after getting everything. They have self service checkout which is handy, although make sure to check your car registration."
