"Iceland has got expensive. I get that everything has gone up because we are being ripped off by the big PLCs, but even comparatively speaking. Also, apparently, customer service is officially dead. I must have missed that email, but the woman on the till barely grunted at me and my friend. Perhaps this is icelands way of getting rid of till staff completely, put the rude ones out front so people like me who would rather be served by a human than argue with a machine give up thus playing into their hands so they can employ even less staff and make more profit!"

"Terrible experience with management when I called because 21 items were missing from my online shopping. He was rude, disrespectful, unhelpful, shouting and slammed the phone down on me. Awful customer service"

"I live in Devon. So I tend to raid this place for jerk chicken patties on departure every time. And every time, it's fully stocked. And a good price. How can I not give 5 stars for that."

"I’m going to review the features within this store and then give my final review. Starting with: Customer Service: The customer service within this store is okay. It’s nothing outstanding and you wouldn’t be at fault if you described it as mediocre. The members of staff working the tills are okay, they’re not overly chatty or anything – which is good if you’re in a rush although I know that some people prefer the super friendly/chatty assistants. Selection/Services: The prices of this store are really its selling point and how this Iceland managed to throve despite being located right next to the biggest Tesco store in the area. Sure the selection of products within Iceland might pale in comparison to the Tesco next to it, but its prices and sales more than make up for it as it still gets busy in the store. As you will see from my pictures which I’ve uploaded, the store is filled with items prices at £1 or less and tons of other stock on sale or special promotions. This makes this store ideal for those shopping on a budget or looking to bulk buy. Queues: The queues in this store can get a bit long during peak hours since there is no self-checkout. However, it’s worth noting that the members of staff do a good job of keeping the queues moving along at a decent pace – so don’t expect to wait too long before getting served. Hygiene: If I were to dock points, it would probably be because of the way the store often looks. Floors tend to be dirty and not as clean as other superstores around the area and I also tend to see stock cages all around the store not located in a strategic location that doesn’t disrupt customer shopping. Summary: Overall, this store is great if you’re looking to shop / top up your groceries on a budget. I would recommend it based on that note. Wish they made more effort to make it look better though...."
