"Frozen food is horrible.... if you check out their fridge the frozen food especially meat usually don’t have any date of expiration,even there is one I suspect it is fake.... I had food poisoning several times from their frozen food... it felt like the food was kept in the fridge for 10 years and they couldn’t bother to do a cleanup... the fridge also looked messy. Rest are fine."

"Update Jan 2020: After a month of closure and refurbishment last December, this place is re-open with a new management, and my goodness what an improvement this has been. In my last review I gave 1 star, now it's nearly back to the former glory this pan-Asian grocery store used to command. The shelves are 90% stocked, freezers are full (incl. Korean fishcakes! thank you) and the range of sauces/instant noodles/fresh vegetables are good enough to stock the base pantry with. Here's to hoping greed and laziness of the previous owners that choked the life out of this Queensway institution will be no more."

"Quite a range of my favourite foods that are worthwhile cycling 2x7km for. However it seems there are more and more occasions when some shelves remain empty and the bean curd sheets are gradually running out. And today after having cycled another 7km I was only to see the whole thing "closed for refurbishment" with full disappointment, and WITHOUT any prior warnings / status updates on Google Maps at all. Anyway, I would still use it again should it reopen. Looking for an improved service quality."
