Reviews
"If you want to return anything you bought here (probably valid for all Lidl stores), they do whatever they need not to accept the return. They told me I have to show the same card that I have made the payment even thought it was a tokenized card (I payed via Apple Watch) even if it is written in the receipt it would be different from the real one. They showed me TID (terminal id) as if it was the card number to misguide me so that I could not prove the card and they did not accept the return. At the end they kept doing their humiliating attitude and did not accept the return. If you are buying something that you can possibly return, use a plastic card or do not buy from any Lidl stores because you will get disappointed."
"Prices are very reasonable in comparison to other supermarkets (i.e. Tesco, Asda, Sainsburys etc), and I like the very open-plan layout, which makes browsing so much nicer. The bakery section is also a big plus - especially for people like myself who have a sweet tooth!! On the downside there were only two tills in operation during my trip, however the store was rather empty, so queuing was not a problem on this particular occasion. I was also fortunate enough to find a 2-litre bottle of sparkling water, at just 26p, which seems to be the lowest price that I've seen yet! (Where has all the sparkling water gone these days?!? It's crazy!) All in all, though, if you like a peaceful, unhurried and inexpensive shopping trip, Lidl is the place to be. P.S. One final comment/suggestion for Lidl: Could you please provide more vegetarian & vegan options for us non-meat eaters - including microwaveable dishes - as there is an ever-increasing demand for this sector."
"Visit this place pretty much every other days, today was in frozen section and looking for a particular ice-cream and couldn't find one asked the guy called David for help who was shelving he replied I'll have a look when free waited for about 10 minutes and asked how long gonna be, he replied with arrogant attitude I'll help you when I'm finished! Shocking customer service¿?!!!"
"Cute new Lidl with convenient parking. They still had plenty supply of bottled water unlike Costco and Aldi! Easy clear layout in Watford store...love it. **Credit pic to local newspaper/I forgot***"
"Spacious and full of food at a low price. The bakery section looks great and is well stocked. Also has lots of non food items like clothing, utensils, camping, etc. Parking was easy and there is ground floor covered parking if it's raining. Tills are reasonably fast and there is a self checkout with 10 tills."
