"Took a Longine gold watch for a battery and reseal. The assistant on our first visit was excellent. Think he was called Len.When we collected the watch the assistant was much less friendly and just handed us the watch. For £65 I think they could have presented it better. I checked with other Longine dealers who quoted between £20 - £30 for similar.Online the website I looked at said they accepted payment by American Express but when I tried to pay was told they don't accept AMEX.Sadly from my experience I couldn't recommend them"

"Cannot speak any higher of Peter and the rest of his team. I was walking through Manchester a few days before Christmas and spotted the most beautiful Cartier I think I’ve ever seen and I literally could not believe the pricetag on it. I went into the shop tried to watch on and one of the staff members explained that the watch had been with them for a few years and the reason for the low price was due to a stock clearance. I thought this was very honest and I was actually saving just over £3000 which was an absolute godsend a few days before Christmas. I had a minor issue with the watch as the second hand was sticking. I called the shop and spoke to Peter the owner and he was very apologetic over the telephone and explained that I could bring it straight back and they would send it straight to Cartier at their cost . Through no fault of theirs I received the watch two months later as it had to be sent to Cartier in Paris. I have now received the watch and have fallen in love with it again.
