The Nail Spa

"Extremely poor all round, the only thing going for this spa is its location. It would sadly not survive outside of Westfield. Have been here a few times, never left happy and had to go home and make tweaks to the shape of the nail or get wispy bit of cuticle off that they have failed to do. The staff have zero customer skills, nor do they care for a customers journey. I had made a booking, but on arrival nobody welcomed me to the spa, but all the nail techs glared at the front door as they were all busy. A very simple hi, take a seat someone will be there in a moment, completely unachievable. Techs have poor skill sets, talk to each other, ignore customer requests, and tell you they’ll have to charge extra for pretty much everything but the air you’re breathing. The express manicure will have you in and out of the shop in just over 10 minutes. Nail polish on your chin and nails that look like they belong in the wonky veg isle of a supermarket. This place is way to overpriced for the shoddy workmanship. Spend your money elsewhere."

"Closest to the service I used which is gel powder nails. I've had my nails done on Saturday only to have to return on Sunday as they gel started to lift. They replaced it the first time and now after a second phoncall regarding the same thing and asking for a refund the woman who runs it refused and wouldn't even understand that it was a mistake on their part! Absolutely appalled by her manner and behaviour and not willing to refund my money! Just said email headoffice. Claimed it wasn't their fault.. well I clearly didn't paint my nails did I!? The place is not cheap and I have been a loyal customer since last year, so for me to have to write this review they must really have upset me with their no refund policy or even accepting liability for their wrong doing. The guy that did my nails was lovely both times but it's sad that they have lost a loyal customer."

"First and last time visiting.. unfortunately I did not make any research regarding prices and other reviews, but it was honestly a rip off! I was shocked to see how much I got charged for average work. I had better acrylics done before, and never have I been charged £50 for them. Even with nail art, I have paid £40, and for simple (YES POWDER GEL) £30 or max £35. My sister pays £20 at the one she goes to (In Greenwich) and they last long and are of same quality. Don't know what to say. Overpriced for work that other saloons do much better for less! Not sure if it is a location thing because last time I also was in another saloon inside Westfield and got charged £25 for gel that lasted only one week and I could have done it way better myself. The fact that there is a shopping centre there, does not necessarily make Stratford a fancy place to be so overpriced, so brace yourselves!"

"1 star for this nail spa because the nail technician butchered one of my fingers with cutticle nippers and couldn't stop the bleeding for 30 minutes. Whilst member of staff was apologetic and I was offered discount, I didn't have enjoyable experience, my manicure doesn't look nice on the injured finger as if it was done 2 weeks ago and the nail has grown and it really hurts. Experienced nail technician shouldn't make mistakes like these, as the bleeding couldn't be stopped for so long I could sense the person serving me was getting annoyed... Sorry the injury you have inflicted on me isn't healing quickly enough! Also I signed up for a specific nail technician when booking my appointment but was assigned a random person on arrival..."

"Visited The Nail Spa for the first time. Nicely decorated and really welcoming. Tony was doing my nails today and he gave me helpful suggestions on what I should do. In the end, nails turned out beautiful! Shiny"
