"Very polite staff, but felt it was being run by young inexperienced staff. We had evening meal, food was lovely plates were hot steak was cooked perfect, only downside we waited 1hr for it. In the morning we went for breakfast at 8.45, we has to be at Chatsworth for 10 for our slot for the Christmas theme, well we ordered sat there again 25mins no breakfast and another couple had asked where there breakfast was, the waitress went into the kitchen to tell the chef i heard them ranting because we had asked where it was, in the end we left with no breakfast, im a cook there is no way a breakfast takes over 25mins so we were very disappointed to say the least"

"A lovely mill at the edge of town with more than sufficient parking at rear. Ideally placed for excursions around the peak district. My only down side was the shower. The choice of ales is ever changing and the meals are both lovely and substantial. The breakfasts are quality goods and large portions. We would gladly return here again."
