"Love this place! So glad to find a local barbershop in Stoke Newington that would feel cool as a queer woman walking into a male dominant space. Very glad to have met Manners, she's awesome! Perfect fade and confidently managed my wayward curls too. I feel Cuts & Bruises could let people know they're LGBTQ+ friendly, because I know plenty of queer folks who would love this place, but might not feel it's a space that's also for them. Just a thought :)"

"Best haircut I’ve had in atleast a decade. Z is a great barber. I was getting my hair done for a very important event. Visiting England from the states. Z was fun to chat with. The shop is cool looking. Everyone is nice. It’s hard to find a barber that can do exactly what you ask the first time you meet them. His haircut and beard trim was perfect. If I lived in England in this area, I would be a regular here."

"So today was my first time visiting Cuts & Bruises I got my first ever trim from Kem. Midway even before he was done I was already confident he was doing a brilliant job and felt at ease as I knew was in good hands. I have been looking for a barber for the past couple of months, someone regular, someone competent as my previous barber who had been cutting my hair for just under 20 years. Kem was brilliant I would highly recommend anyone thinking of going to Cuts & Bruises. Prices are very competitive especially for the quality of cut and care you get."
