"I’ve been going to Stefan’s for over a year now and they are some of the nicest fellas I’ve ever met. Definitely the best men’s barbers/grooming service in London. Great people, great service and can’t imagine going anywhere else. Highly recommend!"

"I visited Stefan after reading about him on GQ Magazine and his reviews on Google, and went to him for a Haircut yesterday at his popup in Gosvenor House Hotel. Probably one of the best haircuts in my life. I don't think it could have been better. Understood exactly what I wanted and the challenges I have with my hair, very kind, great chat during the cut, we shared of a lot of mutual interests, washed my hair, blow dried it and set my hair up in a way where it's designed to work well in the long run. I'll probably be back to Stefan before I head off again. It's hard to find a Barber you trust when you're a public figure who understands exactly what you want, and Stefan did just that."

"Go to the address provided on their website and Google for my appointment, it’s literally a building site. Check the booking email, there’s a different address. Go there. No shop at that address. Eventually get on the phone and the hairdresser doesn’t even know the address himself, just tells me it’s at the “entrance to Grosvenor hotel”. Still can’t find it. Complete waste of my time."

"Sweeney Todd Experience - Wet Shave experience via food.social I was glad I went to this as I have never been to a barbers for a wet shave I thought I would treat myself to a new experience. You first head into a clothing store and head downstairs into a stylish basement with barbers chairs and a reception area with the gin and cigars and pies just tempting you. As well as the various clothes and accessories which if there was a queue is a nicer distraction and time filler than a magazine. Was lucky this time around as James the founder of food.social was there to greet me and really warm and welcoming. Music from Sweeney Todd set the scene and I was ushered to my seat. Now I have seen the movie so I would hope my experience was a little different to the movie. The Avanzato team were dressed impeccably and took you back In time. I was treated to a luxury wet shave incorporating a facial with essential oils and hot and cold towels and there is an art to this as you are explained the process and reason behind each phase as well as explaining the oils and creams that are being used. A one point when asking if anyone has ever been cut (as you do) being told by one of the experienced team never in the 15 years he has been doing this but first time for everything as he takes hold of the cut throat razor and also mentions the razor is much sharper than standard ones so if I was to get cut would be looking at A&E for sure but it was all in fun and jest and really gets to highlight how this is really only for the trained. I never realised the number of steps from the cleaning and then opening of pores before with various oils and creams being applied before and after the shave along with the cold towel to close the pores does take time and you are in full relaxation mode in no time. This experience also included an exclusive gin tasting and cigar experience as well as Ginger Pig pies.  So I skipped the gin and cigar side but went straight for the pies which were amazing. I want to know where I can buy these as I always say when you can remember the taste of something after sometime then that is a memorable dish you need to tell others about. A great experience and will be sure to be logging onto food social again to book my next adventure."
