"The photos say it all really. We've all been to the hairdressers and have had more chopped off than we asked for - but this hair cut was awfully unprofessional. I walked out of the hairdressers in tears, and once I got home and assessed the haircut properly, I noticed just how poor it was. It was uneven, choppy and no thought or skill went into the haircut. This hairdressers used to be on the top of my list, I have been for balayage and cuts multiple times and have always been happy but in the last year or so, they seem to be hiring inexperienced hairdressers to do the lower charged services and this is resulting in haircuts like mine. Bearing in mind, by "lower" it's £65 which is not cheap. Thankfully, I went to another hairdressers and they managed to salvage as much as they could, but they was also very shocked when I took my hood down and showed them just how bad it was. Please think twice before coming here, unless you're paying for the top tier hairdressers in the salon, you're at risk of walking out in tears too."

"My first time at Live True Soho was by far the best experience I have had in a salon. I would totally recommend Zofija if you are looking forward for a flawless balayage! She was amazing and she did a great job giving me the most beautiful hair. She also took so much care to talk me through what she was going to do. I never loved my balayage colour so much until today! The results just speak for themselves. I am looking forward to my next appointment with Zofija☺️"

"I rarely leave bad reviews for any business but I have never encountered anything like this before. I booked an appointment for a balayage and hair dry. Three hours before the appointment they called me and delayed my appointment for 1.5h which was fine by me as I was happy to give them the flexibility. I turned up for my appointment and once the senior hair colourist looked at my hair he said he couldn't do anything as my hair is too weak. I have been doing balayage and highlights for the past 13 years every 4 months in different salons and in different countries and have never been told this is a reason to not colour my hair (attached is a photo of my hair that was deemed too weak for colouring). I appreciate the honesty and professional opinion and that he didn't attempt something he wasn't comfortable doing, however I expect that a professional experienced and expensive salon is able to have a few recommendations. I mentioned that I have a wedding to attend next week and I needed any alternative just so that my hair looks fairly presentable as I haven't refreshed my balayage for the past 5 months. He had no suggestions, recommendations or alternatives. I was just offered and an Olaplex treatment (for which I paid GBP 40) and recommended that I should come back in a few weeks. I have seen good examples of their work but this is very unprofessional and very bad service leaving me in difficult spot as the maid of honour in a wedding only a week away so it's fair to say I will not be making another appointment."

"Attended the salon last week and requested blonde highlights on my natural colour. HANDS DOWN the WORST highlights I've ever had (been getting highlights for the past 2/3 years). I didn't notice the poor technique in the salon (due to the lighting) and only when I left did I realise that my highlights are around 2-3cm from my root? and completely uneven? I called the salon and they referred me to customer service (great) then I emailed customer service but they requested I attend the salon for a review. I even sent over multiple photos (which I will attach) yet they still requested to review in-person. I work shifts and I'm going on holiday this week so unfortunately don't have the time to attend so am now being ignored by 'customer service'. I heard awful reviews before attending this salon and will not be attending ever again. I genuinely don't even want another member of staff to fix the roots."

"Really disappointing results and atrocious customer service. I booked through Treatwell for balayage and a haircut. I provided a reference image of the colour/effect I liked (first image). The stylist advised I would need foilage, so I trusted her (my natural hair is dark). She said it would cost an additional £15 and olaplex would cost £40. It was fine until I saw the end results. It looked lighter than I expected but the stylist tried to assure me it was fine and similar to what I wanted. I wasn't completely happy but thought I needed a bit of time to get used to it and also wait to see it in different lights (it was already dark when my appointment finished). All the upgrades the stylist advised ended up costing an additional £140, which was a lot more than she had communicated during the appointment. In total I spent over £200. In the morning the colour looked worse. It had a yellow/green tone and I noticed blonde streaks underneath. I contacted the salon but they just advised to email the customer service team - no apology or concern. I was extremely uncomfortable with the colour so I dyed my hair darker at home. After washing my hair out I noticed how uneven the haircut was also (last image). The outer layer is shorter and it has just been bluntly cut across at the back with no shape. The customer service team has been responding sporadically. They can only offer an assessment with the same stylist, who I don't feel confident using again. I asked them for alternate options but they are yet to respond. It's been a week since my appointment. Update: their customer service team doesn't respond unless you chase. No solutions have been offered and the hair assessment is pointless. I've had to go to a different salon to fix my hair as it's been 3 weeks. Would strongly not recommend this place. A terrible and expensive experience!"
