"Wonderful experience here! The staff are warm and friendly and make you feel at home as soon as you enter. Helen was able to fit in two appointments for me right away and is such a kind, welcoming individual. Michael and Gaby have wonderful bedside manner. Through Michael, I learned that I have two deciduous (baby) teeth that are in much better shape than I thought. He brought me comfort in knowing they won't fall out any time soon and one may just need some minor repairs that we planned to have done in the near future. This was a relief considering I have no adult teeth under these baby teeth. Gaby was incredibly gentle and careful during my dental cleaning appointment. At other practices, I've found my gums bleeding quite a bit during the cleanings and experience soreness in my mouth/gums. Here, I didn't experience that at all, but did have a thorough cleaning. There was also the lovely view of the large garden and relaxing music playing in the background. I also appreciated how much Michael and Gaby taught me about my teeth and gums and how to keep them healthy. From here on, this will be my go-to dental practice. They are also NHS-friendly and affordable."

"This was my first appointment with Mr Michael watts.I was very apprehensive, owing to bad experience in the past. The opening statement on selbourns website,"quote"you will be welcomed and at ease,as soon as you walk through the door"unquote "was an understatement. The receptionists was my first point of contact, and she made me so welcome, and I felt at ease from the start.Mr watts treated me with up most respect, and I felt ,I was receiving a Private consultation, rather than Nhs.He put me at ease ,and spent so much time ,explaining, every detailed treatment, I would need.Following xray,s a small camera took fotos of my teeth, and a plane was made.Mr watts made me feel so comfortable from being to end.I was so happy,.When I left,I shed tears, having been traumatized by my past dentist.I am now looking forward to my late years, thanks to Mr watts.I will update this following every appointment. yvonne"

"Booked a check up for 9:15 and makes me wait 15mins without explanation and then to make things worse the receptionist asks me to look at me medical questionnaire to waste time. When I complained the lady said its not her fault that Mr Watts is running late. If she had of said that at the beginning I might have understood. I think mr watts should get up a bit earlier in future. Not the cheapest nhs dentist in the area either."

"I have been going to the dentist since 1981! The current dental surgeon that treats me is a Mr.M.Watts. He is the best dentist you will find anywhere, he has resolved all the issues I have had with my teeth. The atmosphere is warm and friendly and all the staff are caring, I know that if I have a tooth problem it will be sorted and I can't ask for more."

"My wife went in for a check up, and was told she needed 6 fillings, she could only afford the one, and was told it was only a small one. after an X ray and a while under his drill, he told her all done. She was give a mirror to check the fine work carried out, but to her horror found that he had done a full Crown, my wife was devastated. He didn't for warn her discus this all she was told, was she needed a filling. She was also told prior to this work being carried out that he could not do the work unless she see the hygienist, for a full clean. Make what you will of this, but for us/my wife she was not warned consulted about what he eventually done, thus removing her right to decide what she wanted. Plus the question mark over did this work really need to be carried out. An update : my wife recently we t to a different dentist after now being very scared to go back to any dentist due to her above experience. She had her check up and clean, fearing the mention of the other 5 fillings that Selborne said needed doing. But no mention, so she asked nothing need doing at all, no fillings? No you teeth are good he replied. I can't help wondering did the extensive work really need doing on her tooth!"
