"The cafe will not allow dogs in the outdoor seating area, despite the garden centre being dog friendly. I wrote to management at Hillier and was told this was policy and would not be changing. The cafe should follow other cafes in dog-friendly garden centres and allocate a handful of dog friendly tables, so that people not wishing to be near dogs may sit away from them. The other popular garden centre I visit allows dogs indoors at a handful of tables in the corner. Sadly I won’t be visiting any time soon, as I always bring my dog to the garden centre with me. Looks great from afar."
