"Short of staff and coffee. No stock of Kenco coffee this morning - none. And a 20 minute queue at the check-out. Empty stillages ar the ends of several aisles. What was once a training store just feels a bit run down. Each week there are stock shortages. It could be eggs, or biscuits or pork joints, or tomatoes or frozen chips - things that are staples - and it feels like poor management. The staff are still lovely people - good luck to them."

"This is my 3rd time going to Asda and the staff I feel like on a night are racist. It’s the same two lady’s who throw comments. I showed them my Nhs card along with my photo on it she said she needed an additional ID to accept my nhs discount. The NHS card has my photo on it. That’s enough proof that it’s my card. The second time went she said she can’t accept my card off my phone. Today I went and the lady was extremely rude towards me and I asked her to add it on she said it’s added on. After I’d paired it didn’t show on my receipt so I went up to her and said it’s not added she said “ops sorry nothing can be done now” and my shops are normally over £100"

"Wakefield’s main Asda supermarket. Very big store with more choice of products than the average Asda, at least when fully stocked. Have a reasonable selection of houseplants and large home section. Pretty much what you’d expect from a large supermarket. Recently the store has been suffering shortages, mainly from what I’ve seen in the frozen department and also eggs. Has a few smaller stores within like costa, cake box and timpsons. Car park is a bit manic at times."

"Good choice of goods. Very helpful staff but not enough of them. A November Thursday afternoon and a 15 minute plus wait at a checkout because a lot weren't open. Goodness knows what it will be like on the run up to Christmas."
