"This is why we do what we do.... Nikkie used to look after a lady called Mary up until recently she passed away... this is what her daughter Jane and granddaughter Lynsey had to say about Nikkie.... Where do we start well Nikkie worked with my daughter Lynsey. She saw the struggle me and my daughter had with my mum having dementia caring for her as well as working and juggling life. We currently had the same care company at the time on a weekend who Lynsey and Nikkie worked for..there's was only a few which I mean a very little carers who could deal with my mum and one being Nikkie. Nikkie approached us and explained she was there anytime if we needed her, we took her up on a kind gesture. Nikkie cared every weekend Saturday Sunday for many years we never looked back and was like a breath of fresh air knowing my mum was in safe hands every weekend. Then when the holidays came up Nikkie was happy to help us again doing more care for us. Nikkie became family the bond her and my mum had was heart melting you could see the love in my mums eyes for her. My mum was a cheeky little soul but the biggest heart. She used love to have a laugh and indeed she did with Nikkie. On a weekend it wasn't just care Nikkie would bring it was home made dinners treat my mum to takeaway, take her out for breakfast and wonder round asda not only was we so grateful people would say I've seen Mary out with carer aren't they lovely people shes is very Well looked after.. We cannot explain how much we was greatful and to this day forever grateful we cannot explain in words how much it ment to us we will never be able to repay how much It ment to us. Sadly my mum passed away last May 2021 there's a very big part in our lives which is missing without her but not only my mum not being here its felt like we've lost another family member as Nikkie was here every weekend we looked forward to the big hearted soul who brightened up your day. No matter how u felt that day Nikkie always ad a positive approach. Always could ask for advice about my mum for a second opinion as Nikkie knew mum inside out like us. I just wish Nikkie knew mum before the horrible disease but I'm sure she's a good idea how mum used to be. Forever greatfull thankyou so much ❤️"
