"Booked Sunday lunch...( our oven is broken)...Friendly staff...pub appears to have been refurbished in past 12 months...and enjoyed a relatively good experience. Drinks fine...food fine .. however despite booking a desert...needed to remind staff.. more than 30 mins after finishing our lunch.! Happy to use again...but suggest a little more attention to outstanding orders ."

"We stayed for a few days in this Hotel, the staff very friendly and professional. Hotel aged but renovated, clean and without any problems. We used the hotel restaurant. The dishes tasty and very quickly and efficiently served, even though there were a lot of people. We took advantage of the offer to combine dishes which was very cost effective. It is also a traditional pub with a very large selection of delicious beer. We also took advantage of the breakfasts, I recommend the waffles were delicious. Overall, I recommend the hotel as well as the restaurant."
