"Special event today as a charity fundraiser. If only the staff in the pub realised that in the hospitality industry listen and be attentive, engage with customers, be alert, fast in service, accurate with orders, and most of all, smile!!! Every one of the ladies serving looked miserable and couldn't care less. Not paying attention to who needs serving next on a super busy day. First time customer here - not made welcome, so why would I return? Management need to step up and improve training. What a miserable experience."
"Good spot, nice beer, plenty of screens for mainly sport, across the road from the bookies if that's your thing.... could do with a re-furb, offers a lot of potential as not too much else around in a well populated area.... drinks were good, not too dear, no food on offer while we were there? Friendly staff... if a few pound was spent on it, could be a great place.... plenty of history as the pub has been standing there for a very long time...."
