"Not allowed if you're with a baby... Edit: Thank you for your response. I can understand that for children who can walk - the liability for injury is too great to ignore. Now our case. My son is still a baby and can't walk yet. We only wanted a warm pub to have a pint or two with our friends, after we had lunch in a restaurant nearby. What upset me was the tone that the bartender addressed me with. He was rude. Almost implying that I'm not right in my mind and I should have known that I'm not allowed to bring my baby in. Maybe put a large sign on the door instead of shouting at me. We ended up in O'Neill's which had baby changing facilities too. In the end it worked out fine, after a long walk trying to find an open pub. BTW, your pub was the first that we got rejected from. We've been to numerous pubs with our son. Even during the world cup games."
