"A great pub. If the weather is fine, there appears to be seating for approx 1.2 million people. Inside looks pretty good too. Lots of room for drinking or eating. Good range of beers with doombar and landlord on cask. A most fine establishment."

"The decor has been updated since my last visit and is now modern and fresh. Food is very good value and delicious and value for money. Service was prompt and very friendly. Had lovely chats with both servers serving our table. I’d definitely come back."

"Went there for my friend’s birthday pints, the staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was nice. Accessible for wheelchair as well. I had some sausage and mash for dinner. The portion was decent, the red wine jus was quite boozy with I liked, but the sausage was a bit mushy, I would have liked more texture in them. The potato mash could be a bit creamier and more buttery, but it was kinda ok with the jus. The sticky toffee pudding was really sweet, quite a strong taste of date syrup, perhaps we should have had a cup of tea with it…"

"Excellent Sunday lunch. Great service from the welcoming staff, and great food. We’d brought a dog along who was also welcomed with open arms! One small quibble - no decaf coffee - but my bet is that they’ll get that sorted before long! Looks to be very well-managed with lots of thoughtful touches."

"Marla was very much the helpful hostess behind the bar, although no one else seemed to be doing much. Still a little bit style over substance. At least the AC was sort of on inside. Nice and clean and fairly useful as a place to rest the legs/body/brain, etc. Very chilled out vibe, nearly."
