"Visited on a Saturday night with some friends. Good menu choices (some had sold out), food was fresh and tasty. Side options could be better-did think they were varied enough to go with all mains, but enjoyed my prawn starter with belly pork for main. Belly pork was cooked really well. Very busy so would advise to book in advance"

"Atmosphere 10/10 - very relaxed interior with an open fire. Service 10/10 - attentive, friendly and informative. Food sadly 5/10. We had the cod and the mushroom pasta and were disappointed. The texture and flavour profile of the food we ordered didn’t work for me. Perhaps the meat options are better considered."

"All a good standard. The main dishes have been stepped up since pandemic so if you haven't been yet, it's time to pop by for dinner! The bar in the garden closes early and sometimes runs out of ingredients but they had all the good old standby drinks. They decor in the garden looks great : dried floral chandelier with other natural hanging bouquets."

"Popped in for a lunch during winter. Although we were sat out the back the heaters kept up toasty. The food was solid, the burger juicy and packing lots of flavour. The fries were not quite ‘chip-thick’ but big enough to hit the spot. All in all a solid if unspectacular burger and fries combo."
