"Went to this pub for a long overdue catch up with my three brothers who u have not seen since pre Covid. The interior has a genuine old but not tatty feel to it. The staff were very friendly and helpful and proficient bartenders. There was a really good selection if beers, including a speciality one called "Neck Oil" which one if my brothers enjoyed. Decent lagers and a well poured Guinness which I drink. Although we didn't eat it was apparent that people went there especially for the food. Also there was no loud music or blaring television, very important to over 60s old codgers like me and my brothers. When next in the area will definitely visit again"
