"Cracking pub, good atomosphere, friendly staff. Good range of food on the menu and has always been good quality when I eat here (which is quite often!). Quiz on a Thursday evening is always good fun and a good laugh. Dog friendly too. Staff are brilliant, always smiling and a good positive vibe. We drove a miniature steam engine over and treated ourselves to lunch, the pub kindly gave us some water for the return journey. Would recommend a visit or several!"

"Just had the set menu lunch at £10.79 Great value and good tasty food. Breaded mushroom, fish and chips and treacle pudding with custard We were surprised at the portion sizes. No more food needed today!! Nice friendly staff. We will certainly be returning. Only fault was the slow service but we were in no hurry anyway!"
