"A nice little find. There were 3 of us and I had pie and chips. Quick service, hot food and nicely presented. Friendly staff and everything was clean."

"Not a bad looking cafe. Friendly service. Well over priced for a normal cafe. Had small breakfast. Was to small for the £6.00 and £2.00 for a cup of tea. So £8.00 the lot. 1x small piece of bacon which was dry and crunchy, overcooked like a shoe sole. 1 x small cumberland sausage overcooked and really small aswell. 1 x tablespoon of overcooked mushy beans in a ramakin. Then the only thing that was not overcooked was the slightly snotty egg. The bread was nice. Dont mind paying more if your going to get quality. But this is not and does not match the prices. Cumberland sausage dont belong on a breakfast anyway. Should have a choice for a normal quality pork sausage. I have had better at a road side hut for cheaper, better cooked and more on the plate, including tea pot."

"My favourite cafe of all time. Me and a friend go once a week, I'm local but my friend drives from Barking just to come here. Food is fresh good quality and locally sourced, obviously you can get cheaper but you get what you pay for in way of quality. I've recommended it to several people and they all love it to. Well done Andy and Sue."

"Went for lunch and must say the food was absolutely delicious. With grandchildren who equally enjoyed their food! Not cheap but worth it for tasty food. It was busy but service was okay. Warm and comfortable on a cold day."

"We dropped in here from the A12, looking for somewhere a little different, comfortable, with good food - nailed it! They had great vegan options, and everything was served quickly and presented well. Definitely recommend, much better than those chain options..."
