"Black Sheep has been on my coffee to-do list for a while. My initial reaction from the branding and price was that this was premium level artisan coffee. The self-serve touch screen kiosks were the only way to place an order, which was no bad thing for the volume of customers. I also thought that maybe this ordering system would mean more focus would go on preparing a good coffee. The wait for our drinks was reassuringly slow. When I finally picked up the coffee there was some smudgy half hearted latte art, no bother I thought, it's all about the taste. Finally after tasting it I realised I'd wasted my time. Although the beans tasted good the execution of the flat white and cappuccino was off. I'm certain we didn't get whole milk despite selecting it on the order screens. The flat white had way too much water in it as well. Overall a really disappointing experience, one which I would have normally got up and complained about but I was in no mood to push through a dozen waiting customers."

"The coffee here is great - Just like most of the franchises, there is a wide range of options, different syrups, milk, and coffee bean choices. However, I would not recommend the food. The cross-contamination is blatant and no regard for any dietary requirements from a food point of view."

"The Salted Caramel Latte was a creamy texture and so good here (not so sweet though), hard to find a better coffee in London. It is slightly pricier than other places if you add syrup and get the milk options. Been here a few times and tried different coffee each time, it has always been nice. Chilled vibes."

"Experience did not match the marketing pitch and photos. Similar quality and rushed impersonal service as any random Starbucks. Flat white was bland and super hot. Ambience not very nice. Why ask for a customer’s name if you’re just going to yell the whole order?"

"Ordered coffee and food at their new self service place. I was asked to leave a name as I was dining in. So when my order was ready instead of calling out my name the barista was shouting out the entirety of my order, I found this to be very rude as she was able to call out the names of all the other orders. This made me feel uncomfortable and I don’t really want to come back here. My coffee was a flat white with oat milk, the coffee was not great, croissant tasted fresh and buttery. Cookie was okay, the cold compressed strawberry drink tasted like it’d gone off."
