"Appalling service. This is the third time I have visited this place, and every time, I have been left waiting to order despite being in clear view of all staff. A pity as food is relatively good, albeit overpriced. A place clearly relying on good location and prioritising quantity over quality. Walk a few minutes further and find a much more professional service at one of the nearby breakfast places."

"A lovely café to go to for breakfast or lunch. Prices are worth the huge portions! It was quite busy, but we were quickly sat and served fast. I definitely recommend the pancakes , thick, fluffy and delicious."

"Terrible Meal! We ordered 2 Ham and Cheese Toasties and a Sausage Baguette with two portions of Chips. 50 minutes after we ordered two cold bowls of chips arrived along with the baguette and the horrible toastie (£7.50 and nothing else with it). We sent the chips back and 15 minutes later the other toastie still hadn't arrived and neither had the chips. When I complained again, eventually they arrived, but the toasties was still awful and the chips were hot but soggy. The manager said they were busy!! Overpriced rubbish food served with a frown and no pleasantness at all. I will never go back.......nor I would think will the people next to us who ordered two burgers and took one mouthful before deciding it was also terrible and leaving the lot. Fortunately there are much better places around.......what has happened to this once great little cafe? Greed by the looks of things as there are now far more tables than they can cope with."

"It looks like a cute cafe with seating outdoors and indoors. We ordered a vegetarian breakfast, pancakes, and a teapot. The breakfast was well made overall but the halloumi was too rubbery. The buttered sourdough was great and we ordered more because it was so lovely. The problem was with the pancakes. While they look amazing, they taste very bad. The maple syrup was a thick, gooey consistency like caramelized sugar instead of smooth. It also tasted too strong. The pancakes themselves were also too chewy. The staff was generally nice. In particular the gentleman serving us in a bright yellow hoodie. I was unable to get his name but he was very soft and kind."
