"My Makita MLT100 table saw stopped working while cutting a wet piece of timber which was way too big for the saw but I thought I'd give it a try anyway! Spoke to Bill on the phone who was really helpful and offered to have a look. I asked if he had any idea how much it would cost, he told me that a recent motor rebuild on another MLT100 had cost about £260. I took it in and the next day he phoned me to say that he had had a look and reset the thermal cutout switch and it was now running well. I had prepared myself for a bill of about £260 so being charged a fraction of this for Bill's time was a great relief. Thanks for your honesty and quick turnaround."
