"Nice modern and cosy building which is nicely presented, I had my Haircut by Zac, Zac had been there a very short period of time and had experience working at Turkish barbers, he is 17 years old. From speaking to Zac he was a really nice and easy to get along with young lad but unfortunately I don't feel his training was up to scratch, I don't think he was apprentice trained and wasn't doing an apprenticeship with The Gentlemen's Quarter. If I had known this prior to having my hair cut I wouldn't have allowed him to do it as the cut was mediocre at best and the Fringe is a mess, The fade is practically non existent. I don't think this is down to Zac I feel it is down to poor training, and or the lack of an apprenticeship, Lads got potential just needs training. And to top it all of they are charging standard prices for Zac's cuts and in all honesty should be notifying people that he is young and would be willing to charge less for Zac's cuts and that they understand the age and risk. Most good Barbers I have been to will give you the option of having your hair cut with an apprentice and will knock a flat amount of due to this. Again, This isn't Zac's fault and does have potential but The Gentlemen's Quarter really should give better training or an apprenticeship due to his age and definitely don't charge full prices."

"This review is SOLELY based on the fact that they don't keep their appointments schedule up-to-date on Booksy. I booked two appointments for my son and I, only for them to be cancelled an hour before we were due because the person we booked with doesn't work there anymore. I'm sure their haircuts are great, it's why I chose them based on prior reviews, but it caused me hassle finding somewhere else."

"Would not recommend. Went in for a dry cut with my sister, she has quite long thick hair and so wanted feathers in the front and a trim. The hairdresser took about 15 minutes and hardly cut any hair off her head, she looked the exact same as when we went in. I wanted a curtain fringe and feathering in the front too, did the same thing with me... barely cut any hair from the bottom and after asking for a fringe about 4 times the lady decided for me that it wouldn’t look good and proceeded to just trim my grown out fringe a little and that was it. We paid £24 to come home looking exactly the same as we did when we walked in. The service and quality was so much better at the Dewsbury store. Won’t be visiting again."
