The staff there were very welcoming and very accommodating, the food was really well presented and cooked to exactly how I expected it. "The Rufford has been our local for years and we can safely say that the current management and Chef have really improved things over the previous. Food is really fairly priced, good quality, tasty and the Lagers are at the going rate. A few choices of premium Lagers and great family friendly atmosphere. Everything likes tidy and clean, lucky to have The Rufford on our doorstep. Can well recommend for functions too!"

"Our first visit to The Rufford in a very long time as we'd heard good reports on the food. Molly was lovely and very efficient. Surprised to see how quiet it was, maybe it got busier for the quiz later, unfortunately we couldn't stay. Food was very tasty, disappointed that you had run out of tomatoes and mushrooms. Chef did send his apologies, it would have been a nice touch to offer a bit of something else to replace it."

"Had a meal with my daughters and toddler granddaughter. We were all made very welcome. Service was quick, friendly and professional. There was a slight mix up with a dietary request on meal, but the young woman who served us picked up on our conversation and quickly double checked the order without being asked to. The issue was swiftly resolved and the food was really tasty. We all really enjoyed the meal, including granddaughter who cleared her bowl of pasta and garlic bread with veggie sticks faster than any of us. Would recommend for a family meal and look forward to visiting again. Thank you."

"November 2021.. A very pleasant large restaurant/ pub, with a v.large car park with electric car charging point avaliable. (Something different). Had a midweek lunchtime meal together with friends, good clean premises and freindly staff, no cask ales were available but the usual draught lagers, beers and ciders were.. Food ordered from the menu arrived quickly and really hot, also available was a carvery that had 3 prices to suit different appetites. This food was also hot and tasty. They have entertainment on most nights. MERRY CHRISTMAS !!"
