"I tried to order a part online but struggled to pay with a voucher so i visited the store in Wakefield. I asked the female sales assistant for the part, after checking stock on the pc, she said it's obsolete but then spotted something that may suggest they might be 1 in the warehouse, she returned a few minutes later with the part, which she said she didn't know it was there or that they sold it, she then offered me more money off as well as the voucher. Excellent service, i didn't get her name but she is a superb member of your staff."

"I was helped by the customer service desk at Wakefield Halfords on Ings Road, to select the correct battery for my Citroen C4 Picasso. I had joined the Premium club the evening before. As a result I received 5% discount, a £10 voucher & free fitting which was excellent value. It took Matt and Martin more than 45 minutes to move sufficient wires and hoses to access and replace the battery. It was far from straight forward but they persisted and overcame all the obstacles and had my vehicle up and running within the hour. Both Matt and Martin worked extremely hard and put everything back and I was amazed at the level of service I received. It was brilliant, certainly beyond a normal battery replacement. Well done!"

"Absolutely horrendous, One rear light out, offered two in case other was about due. Asked for them to be fitted. Lots of banging but after a while he said all done so drove away. Last night I noticed I had no reverse lights and the one light that was fine beforehand also not working Took it back to Halfords and both the light fittings hadn’t been put back in properly 1 light completely smashed and both reverse lights had been taken out He’d moved my parcel shelf so the roof on convertible wouldn’t work Hadn’t even put back the covers they were laying in the boot. Three very helpful Halfords fitters took over an hour to fix what the one guy had done just to replace one bulb Appalling this fitter should be sacked sending someone off with only 1 rear light, no reverse lights, badly replaced parcel shelf and covers"
