"A group of about 10 of us visit on Sunday occasionally. The service and food is generally good with an odd issue not worth mentioning however on our last visit the milk for the coffee had lumps in it and was off and a meal was missed off our order so arrived as the majority were finishing their meal. The barmaid was run off her feet and needed prompting for the coffee/tea but was apologetic throughout. The pub was quiet while we were there so our order shouldn't have posed a problem as had it been busy."

"Fantastic lunch. Nothing too much trouble. Food amazing, cask ales 100% perfect. Pub very, very clean and welcoming, large beer garden, perfect in this heatwave. Caroline, the boss person, can't do enough for her customers. Always talking and making visitors VERY welcome. And she makes a big fusd of 4 leg visitors"
