"I had my first pint in this pub in 1978, it has always been a great pub to go in with some great landlords/landladies over the years. My wife and i have just had the Christmas dinner there. The food was fantastic with some great beer to wash it down. The couple who run the pub are really friendly and make you feel very welcome. As a Swinnow lad through and through this pub will always hold a special place in my heart. Well worth a visit."

"Called in for tea around a week ago having previously been (fairly) regular dining customers but for some reason fell out of the habit. The decor is tasteful and tidy with a very welcoming atmosphere and very friendly staff. Timmy Taylor's on tap too so being a Keighley lad a very welcome option! Staff said renovations were still ongoing with the car park due to be improved in the near future. The menu is pretty varied without being excessively large so everyone should find something to their tastes. I ordered the Dirty Double burger and our lass a Chicken Parmo with barbecue and bacon (I think was the option?) Both came looking great with big thick proper chips!! Is there a better sight on a working class plate? I doubt it! Sides of onion rings, salad and coleslaw (home made) were a nice touch too. All of these were lovely. The burger though was just alright, but a little lacking in taste unfortunately. Something was just missing. Not sure what it was about it to be completely honest but it was underwhelming. Every other thing put it to shame in terms of flavour! Maybe a stronger cheese or relish/sauce would make all the difference? By contrast our lass' Parmo was good! Full of flavour and very well played at that! I should have ordered the same! It must be said as well that in the current climate of everything being stupid expensive the price at the end was very, very reasonable. We will be back, and I'll order something different next time!"

"Had a roast delivered via Uber Eats. Absolutely superb. Still piping hot despite the driver making another delivery on the way to mine. VERY good portion, need bigger plates!"
