"I went for a job interview here a couple weeks back and when I walked in the store I instantly knew that the odds are against me. There was no one of colour in that store and I think it’s time that we speak out and just call it for it is this country is always going to be races and in certain areas of jobs almost jobs they do not want people of colour working in the store, and was a pointless exercise as the demographics in the store really spoke volumes to me and it’s basically everywhere you go not just with but everywhere you go. They want us to buy their products can be there consumers where we can buy their products, but they’re not representing the UK as racist as it is. They’re not representing the diversity of the country by not having people of colour work in their store and I found the manager there very force very arrogant very rude very pompous and he just says a lot about with his country is he no talk about Brexit talk about having Rishi Sunak as a prime minister, but when it comes to black people in general it says a lot from how we are treated and no one can tell me is any different because I’ve been in this game long enough to know and feel and experience what it is period. and it’s not about me not getting the role i’ve got over 15 years of experience so it is what it is. No one can tell me that what I’m experiencing is not real because you just it is and it’s evident and it’s it’s so obvious what it is. Shame on you River Island shame on"
