"I reluctantly gave a 1 star as there isn't a 0 star option. JMR do not answer phone calls, e mails or respond to buyers solicitors questions. I have had a very frustrating and difficult time which is still going on. JMR really do need to act immediately to the problems within the firm. This is one of the most stressful times a person goes through and for me it is making me ill. At this stage my advice is to avoid at all costs. I will gladly review this post if they can redeem themselves. But it will take a lot for me to change my mind. Come on JMR do your job and communicate with your clients, get on with it. I should have moved by now. It's taken so long my buyer has renegotiated price and I have lost 7k. Not happy."

"I could not discourage anyone from using JMR more. They have been impossible to contact throughout the entire process of selling my flat. They have replied to just 3 of my emails throughout the whole process (3 months and counting), when these replies miraculously came they were weeks late 1 liners with typos that didn't even answer my question. I have never managed to speak to any human being over the phone, left multiple answer phone messages with no reply. I am now having to pay for a new RICS valuation at a cost of £185 to me because of their incredibly slow poor service means my last one is going to expire. I was finally moved to a new solicitor by Home Legal Direct as they initially assigned me to JMR to begin with. My new solicitor is great and I have spoken to them more in 2 days than I did in 3 months with JMR. However JMR have not sent over a single piece of paperwork to her. This now means my flat sale is stagnant whilst we wait for JMR to simply press send on an email, which apparently is too much for them. Again, I have tried to contact them multiple times over email and phone and have had no response. I am putting in a formal complaint to the legal ombudsman and I suggest all others who have received the same terrible service do so too. DO NOT USE THEM!"
