"Great, well kept, selection of top brand and local ales. Pleasant staff. Nice, recently upgraded outdoor seating for summer. Two roaring fires for the winter. Large grass area for the kids and wholesome food selection. Traditional without being dated. Double thumbs!"

"The griffin is the definition of a country put, surrounded by field, dog and children welcome, everyone friendly. Staff make a point of learning your name. Sale good range of ales and Gin and plenty of other options, with good snack selection including pork pies. Could not fault this pub everything about it is fantastic."
